WheelX: Powerful Wheel Cleaner-Wheels-CARPRO-500 ml.-CARPRO Puerto Rico

From the beginning, the primary cleaners used for cleaning rims or wheels were IronX and IronX Snow Soap . These two products are very effective at removing iron or ferrous particles that have accumulated on paint and rims.

In the case of rims, one of the main sources of dirt is the dust released by the brake system. Since they are mostly metallic, products like IronX are widely used to clean rims. In practice, it's excellent when they're heavily soiled with this type of brake dust, but since there are other types of dirt as well, you end up using a lot of IronX , and the process isn't cost-effective or very efficient.

This is why WheelX was created: to effortlessly remove the dirt that builds up on rims. In many cases, all you need is a pressure hose.

  • low pH, "a little acidic"
  • Safe for painted rims, powder coat, and chrome
  • insurance for rims protected with CARPRO coatings

CARPRO WheelX FAQ:
Q: When will WheelX be available?
A: CARPRO WheelX will be available approximately by the end of December 2024.

Q: What is the difference between WheelX and IronX ?
A: WheelX not only dissolves brake dust, but it also dissolves dirt, grime, oil, and more. IronX is amazing at dissolving brake dust and ferrous metal particles, which is what we want when we need to decontaminate the rim.

Q: What is the difference between WheelX and IronX?
A: IronX has a pH of 7.0 (considered neutral or balanced), while WheelX has a pH of 5.7, which is slightly acidic.

Q: Is CARPRO WheelX stronger than other rim cleaners on the market?
A: WheelX removes dirt, grime, and brake dust more easily than any other wheel cleaner we've tested.

Q: Do I have to rub my wheel with WheelX ?
A: No! In fact, almost everything comes off without even touching it. Gone are the days when you had to put in any effort to clean your rims. While it's always best to go over them with a light agitation, WheelX and the water pressure alone will blow you away with the results.

Q: Can I dilute WheelX ?
A: If you dilute it, you'll reduce its potency and effectiveness. It's manufactured as a ready-to-use product.

Q: Is WheelX safe for carbon ceramic brakes?
A: CARPRO states that WheelX is perfectly safe for carbon ceramic brakes when used as directed.

Q: What is pH?
A: The pH is 5.7

Q: Is WheelX safe on all finishes?
A: WheelX is safe on almost all finishes when used as directed.

Q: Is WheelX safe on raw or unpainted aluminum?
A: With raw aluminum, we recommend being careful and testing in an inconspicuous area.

Q: Is WheelX safe on anodized aluminum?
A: On anodized aluminum we always suggest using a pH neutral soap and testing first on an inconspicuous area.
