Comparing Essence Primer and Essence Plus
For CARPRO, all products are designed to prepare, protect, or maintain CQUARTZ . Essence and Essence Plus follow this concept.
Essence Gloss Primer Polish
Essence, also known as Essence Gloss Primer Polish , was first created to create high-gloss shine and prime the paint before applying CQUARTZ. Essence combines SiO2 and abrasives to polish the paint and leave a silica layer that increases shine, protects the paint, and is compatible with CQUARTZ.
Essence Gloss Primer contains abrasives, the same ones found in CARPRO Reflect . This means it has a fine polishing cut, capable of increasing gloss and depth.
After using Essence Gloss Primer for the first time, you'll want to use it forever. It leaves a surface that looks like it already has CQUARTZ on it. The shine it leaves is incredible, and it also leaves a smooth surface, ready for CQUARTZ . You also have the option to apply Reload after using Essence.
In addition to using Essence as a primer before applying CQUARTZ , it can also be used to enhance the gloss and then protect “normal” paint; also known as a 3-in-1 or “all-in-one.”
Essence Plus
Plus was created to repair CQUARTZ- protected paint. Over time, you'll notice marks or swirls in your CQUARTZ- protected paint. To repair these, use Essence Plus. It can be used as a glaze for CQUARTZ-protected paint or any other type of ceramic protection.
In addition to using it over CQUARTZ, Plus is excellent for increasing gloss and sealing non-ceramic paints. I've used it to give that shine many seek, and it also protects my paint and leaves a hydrophobic surface.
Since they do different jobs, they can be combined to achieve incredible results. You'll use Essence Primer as a base to polish the paint and create that impressive shine. You'll then protect the paint with Essence Plus, for approximately 2 to 3 months of protection and a hydrophobic surface.
