CARPRO Reset
CARPRO IronX Snow Soap
The first soap created by CARPRO . It contains ingredients like the famous IronX , for deep cleaning of the paint. The idea is to remove contaminants and dirt from the paint. This soap will not affect the performance of CARPRO or any other brand of coatings. Like Reset, Snow Soap now exists. It is more recommended for maintenance from time to time depending on the use of the vehicle.
CARPRO Lift Pre Wash Snow Foam
Lift is used to remove scale before washing the paint or to soften accumulated scale. It is also known as a Pre Wash. The idea is to use a chemically strong soap, in this case Lift is alkaline (high pH). Lift will not affect C.QUARTZ or D.QUARTZ coatings; you should check with other brands to be sure they can withstand it. In addition to use on paint, it also makes an excellent cleaner for rims, rubber, fenders, engines, etc. It will also work as a multi-purpose cleaner.
For painting, I recommend using a foam cannon (dilute 1:10). Keep in mind that it can remove traditional waxes or sealants. Ceramic coatings are designed to withstand this type of product.
CARPRO Descale: Acid Car Wash
Descale is an acid soap for cleaning ceramic-coated paints. It primarily helps remove a mineral film that forms on top of the paint (protected by the ceramic). This mineral layer affects how water behaves on the ceramic. It reduces water's hydrophobicity and its self-cleaning properties.
Although it's an acid soap, it won't harm ceramic coatings. It will negatively affect traditional carnauba or synthetic sealants, such as polymer sealants.
We recommend using a 1:10 foam cannon. You can also use the same dilution in a spray bottle to clean certain parts such as the door sills, rims, the engine under the hood, etc.
CARPRO HydrO2 Foam
Soap with added protection. Like the soaps we know as Car Wash with Wax. In the case of Hydro Foam , this added protection is similar to ceramics. This soap belongs to the HydrO2 family of products. This means that for the product to work, or rather, for its protection to adhere to the surface, you need to apply the soap, and when you rinse the surface, the HydrO2 magic begins. When you rinse, the protection is activated and adheres to the surface, just like on paint, rims, plastics, and glass.
It is recommended to use with a foam cannon diluted 1:9. You can also use it neat, applying it directly to the sponge you use for cleaning.
Since it's a soap, it can be used as a cleaner, but its primary purpose is to add protection to the paint or maintain the protective coating on the paint. Many prefer this version of Hydro because it's more friendly to use in sunny environments like Puerto Rico.
