The weakness of ceramic coatings (ALL) is the mineral buildup they cause in the paint. These are the famous water marks we see accumulating on the paint. In addition to visually affecting the paint, they also have the effect of preventing the applied coating from performing as it should. Descaling helps remove this mineral buildup without affecting the ceramic.

If your paint is protected with traditional waxes or sealants, Descale will likely remove that protection. You can use it for a deep cleaning and then reapply your favorite protection.
