IronX: Iron & Contaminants Cleaner

Paint decontamination is an important step to achieve the best possible paint finish. Contamination is dirt that accumulates on the paint and isn't removed with maintenance washes. Previously, only clay bar or plasticine was used to decontaminate paint. IronX is extremely helpful in deep decontamination. It was created to remove iron particles from the paint (if you notice some small spots of mold, that's rusty iron).

It doesn't completely replace plasticine (clay), but it makes a tremendous difference when decontaminating, both in terms of time and labor savings and for a more thorough cleaning. It can also be used to clean and decontaminate rings.

To apply:

• Work in the shade to wash and dry the vehicle.
• For your safety, wear safety glasses and gloves. Apply IronX directly to the surface and wait 3 to 5 minutes (it may turn white; don't worry, it will come off quickly when you rinse it off). Do not allow IronX to dry on the surface. Given our climate (heat) in Puerto Rico, it may dry a little faster.
• IronX changes color (violet) when it comes into contact with ferrous particles.
• After 3 to 5 minutes, you can rinse with plenty of water.
• It is recommended to apply some wax or sealant after using IronX .
